The final countdown to Lux Perfect Bride has already started. There have been so many moments which were sad, whether real or conjured. Priyanka’s dejection at the rejection of Raj’s dad and family, Gurpreet’s tears whenever she felt slighted, Rumpa’s tears in her confrontation with her mom and the tears of every girl who left the show. However, the following are my five saddest scenes.
1. The AV on Priyanka in the first episode where she says she’s motherless [and have gone through many ordeals] is looking for a family and a mother who treats her like her own daughter. One of the saddest scenes and one that moved Rajbeer. Was this where the seeds of love [aka, concern] were planted?
2. The gala round when Pooja is confronted, quite unexpectedly, by the AV showing Rumpa and Gurpreet bitching about her. Talking about her manipulations and looks [that she does not have a symmetric face] were blows below the belt. Pooja cried on the show for the first time and the way her eyes and face were bloated could not have been acting.
3. When Nandita tells Vivek on her way out of the show that she has a feeling for Yashdeep [and not for Vivek] and would like to know him better outside. Even though Vivek acted manly and did not show his sadness, it was one of the saddest moments. It was sadder because he neither showed his misery nor cried!
4. When the brides' mothers had come to the mummy mahal to stay with them and Priyanka's sister was conspicuously absent. The reaction on Priyanka's face was undescribably upsetting!
5. During the tasks for the brides when Gurpreet is supposed to give a coconut to her future mother-in-law, and didn’t have any one to give to. The forlorn and desperate look on her face, when she reaches the mothers and stands hesitatingly, was indeed one of the heartbreaking ones.
